Any recommendations?

I am pretty much a one man band (Limited Co, VAT registered on the Flat rate scheme) issuing about 10 invoices a month, 2 employees (me and my wife running the office). I pay a flat rate for my daily expenses. Nothing too complex.

FreeAgent or Xero.

The only three worth considering have been mentioned already. I used Kashflow successfully for four years then moved on to Xero as the business grew and I took on employees that I didn't want to give full access to. Xero gives multi-level access. Kashflow has a basic Beta version of multi-user that wasn't very good.

I don't know Freeagent but its features look sufficently comprehensive.

I am an idiot and have no issue with Xero however as we get busier were getting a person in or asking the accountant to do it.
I got our accountant to set it up as they want it and I just enter stuff and raise invoices, they log in for the VAT stats etc.

I've been using Clearbooks for a few years. Does everything I need, payroll, VAT, returns and whatnot
