Amazon non delivery - Evri (Hermes)

Hi All,
What are my options when an Amazon purchase not received please.
Seller has sent an image of said parcel at front of my front door.
However, I have never seen sight nor sound of it.

What happens now ?
What do I do ?

Difficult one if someone nicked it. They've proved they delivered it.
Police?

were you in when the item was supposedly delivered? be handy if you were at home so the agent would have had no need to take a photo of it by the door as they should have range the bell and given it directly to you.

No, delivered at 11:00am, we not home until 15:50.
Could the Hermes driver have took it back, after photographing it, or am I being cynical ?
Nice small 5 house close, all £500,000 houses

That's why you need the CCTV, some delivery drivers have been caught out by that. Luckily most are honest.

After 1st lockdown but into silly doorstep no contact no sign for parcel photos post May 2020, Amazon were delivering around here (near Liverpool hub) and getting huge losses as scallies were stalking the Amazon drivers from the hub and then picking up parcels left on peoples doorsteps. We got one quite valuable delivery refunded (ca £230) as our Ring Doorbell video showed the Amazon driver deliver, then a few minutes later someone remove. Amazon had by this point a few complaints and images of said removal person and refunded us.

Edit - sorry that was Amazon branded vans delivering, not Hermes. Wouldn't be surprised an entpenarial sole isn't going round re-collecting though.

Also, It's Amazon.

Go online, find the automated web-bot thing.

State it wasn't received.

They'll send you another. You don't even need to interact with a human.

It's built into their business model.
