Met up with a step-brother for lunch (Miller & Carter) and he zapped a QR code for a 10% discount plus lunch was paid for (I think he said with pre-bought further-discounted vouchers). He said they pay £10 a year per staff member for the reward membership - although they have 30k global employees.

There's only a dozen or so of us, and it looks more like £6 a month per head at our size. Anyone with a similar sized business found it to be a worthwhile thing to introduce? There are others too Perkbox etc. Any experiences welcome.

Final bump in case anyone spots it. Couple of years ago we introduced Bupa, just want the overall employment package to be a bit nicer. Thought it might be a low-cost thing to include.

Company I work at (150+ staff) recently rolled out My Staff Shop, which sounds similar to what you’re suggesting.

https://www.mystaffshop.com/

Very easy to make health and dental claims, plus savings on supermarket shopping, hotels, tech etc.

I’ve probably saved around £650 on it in two months, and it works surprisingly well.

We have Perkbox for general discounts, and Worktango for mutual staff recognition.
Neither are essential, but do make a disproportionate improvement in the “package”.

If you really rinse it, perkbox can save you quite a bit over a year.

We're a tiny company and I'm the only office bod, so I'm HR and payroll is through Xero.

It's absolutely not a race to the bottom, just trying to guage if the cost brings a benefit to staff noticeably beyond.

Try circular benefits.
