I need a PObox address for business use, does anyone know where I can get one? I tried Royal Mail, but they said if anyone asked them for the address behind the PObox, they would supply it freely. Id rather have something which was more secure.

There are places that will give you a virtual office. Usually an office building that lets out offices similar to Regis, but will also give you a suite number which is in reality just a pigeon hole for mail.

Try Mail Boxes Etc.

Web address is something like mbe.uk.com, or google.

Much safer, you get a 'real' street address, and a lot more privacy

Yep, MBE are the people to go to. You get a locked mailbox which you can pick up after hours if you wish, they will receive and sign for all deliveries during office hours, including ones that require payment provided you give them some money in advance for such eventualities, and will hold them for you. And as far as I am aware, they will not give out your real address.

See www.mbe.uk.com for more details.

However, do be aware that MBE is a franchise operation so your mileage may vary. I can't speak highly enough about the Frimley branch though - top people.

Buy a copy of the Exchange & Mart - it's full of 'accomodation addresses' and virtual offices

Royal Mail will waive the rule if you have case, which doesn't include you upsetting big hairy arsed blokes with dodgy business deals. I ran a govt. project under contract trying to destroy criminal markets and they agreed to withold it in case the bad guys wanted revenge.

Not wanting people to know your home address when you are a Sole Trader isn't really a case though, is it?

That's why I would use MBE. Besides, the Post Office's PO Box service is pretty basic compared to MBE's offering.
