as ive been looking around for web designers, i was told by a mate to have a look at www.webcreationuk.com
They do seem quite good, anyone know anything about them.

Well they appear to be using dreamweaver to create their sites with.
They use a lot of tables to do their layouts with wich is considered to be a bad thing.
I would bet that they have a load of ready made templates that they use which brings the cost down.
If you are paying to have a website done you should pay for one where it is easy for you to be able to change the images and text yourself and have the ability to add new pages based on the template yourself rather than going back to the designer all the time.

The classic way for unscrupulous companies to make a sneaky few quid - come in at a low price but then charge for their time for every little change.
