Where to recruit finance people

I need to recruit for our company a Group Financial Controller, reporting to MD. I want to avoid agencies where possible. This is addressed to those of you n similar roles, but which job websites do you tend to use the most?

Obviously I want to advertise on specific financial job websites but do not know which are the best.

Accountancy Age - Magazine & Website

or consider some of the Accountancy bodies - they will usually have an in-house magazine and website for members :- CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW, ICAS

It depends what level you're looking for. A Group Financial Controller being paid £35k a year would be looking in a very different place from one earning over £100k.

Have a look at gaapweb and jobsfinancial for starters as they're pretty wide-ranging.

However, there's a shortage of good ones at the moment (apparently!).
