Have been musing about this question at work this afternoon, but feel sure someone out there would know the answer!

I work for a group of companies based in Brentford, but we have companies all over Europe, including the Republic of Ireland. They have a requirement for some more up to date computer kit, nothing too much, a number of monitors and perhaps base units, and i've had quotes for getting it to them via the back of my car and a ferry.

The question is, when I turn up at Dublin docks with 6 17" screens in my boot, am I going to get charged by Irish customs for them, or are they technically not changing hands as they are effectively going to another office of the same company in a different country....

I think that makes sense, you get the gist?!

Thanks folks!

Tony

The Irish Republic is in the EU so transfers of goods between the UK and RoI should be totally outside of any customs regulations in either country.
