I'm fed up of a cricked neck from using a cordless

Just replace your old telephone with a DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecoms) handset - you then should be able to wander as free as a cloud!

GN Netcom do a Jabra based bluetooth headset that will pair with both your mobile and your desk phone. The phone needs a headset port, and you'd better just check compatibility with GN before you buy.

Amazingly enough Bluetooth is not actually a standard and there are different flavours of Bluetooth...for example a Blackberry handheld will not pair properly with a Nokia Bluetooth car kit.

Good luck.

There is actually a standard for Bluetooth that RIM (BlackBerry) adhere to - it's the Finnish Loo roll manufacturer of your handsfree kit that has "wandered" from the bluetooth standard - in a vain attempt to force you to stick with Nokia products...

as you were...

With regards to the GN Netcom device mentioned above - looks good, and can pair with your mobile & the landline base at the same time, so you can handle calls on both devices with the same headset.
