Having great fun & annoyance with my regular online parcel people, their name has 2go in the middle. Utter utter complete incompetence, even have emails bouncing between me & the MD with the replies from his staff to me, astonishing stuff. Looks like some unemployed peeps about to join the dole queue.

Anyway can anyone suggest a worthwhile alternative, I'm a relatively low rate user, but want an online booking & payment system without too much hassle.

We use UPS.

Not the cheapest but you can do it all on line, they bill your credit card and you can print out the parcel docs.

Oh yes, most importantly... they collect and deliver when they say they will.

www.parcelfusion.com

Miles cheaper than anyone else I've found, with no difference in service.

Nice and simple website, 5 mins to book online for a few parcels to the states, thats £200 worth of business their way today & hopefully a new long term customer.

Cheers for the link, I'll keep you all posted on the results

Interesting thread.

I'm looking into how many people would be willing to pay £ 12.00 for a next day UK service at the mo. Collection from your home / work office of any consignment upto 30 kg.

Is there a niche there ?

Thoughts.

Thanks for the replies.

This is going to be targeted at small business owners, which ebayers do fall under these days. People sending on a regular basis would be the target market.

I've used Postvan too. No fuss no problems. Sent a full set of door cards for a hatchback.

Well I have to say parcel fusion have been brilliant, even calling me to check my email addy so they could send me the parcels address labels & info to print off & how to check it etc.

Arrived on the day suggested & literally half the price of the competition.

One happy customer in the states with some shiny old skool compomotives
