Domain name sale - Stateside

It's likely that I'll be selling a domain name for a site I just haven't had time to develop, if the buyer is in the USA does anyone know what the implications are for the sale contract if it is to consist of an initial purchase price and an agreement to entitlement for a percentage of the gross on-sale price (above an agreed minimum)? Has anyone any experience of selling domain names Stateside from the UK? It's an OK deal but not megabucks so I don't want to involve lawyers or any escrow facility, but obviously DO want to get it right! Thanks for any help / info you can give.
