I need a PA / assistant type person to look after a team. Traditional PA stuff but would need someone to do some research and maybe a little relationship management.

Small team of 6 working on a start-up project within a large listed international telecoms and financial services company.

18k pa plus benefits and the sheer joy of seeing me every day! Very informal atmosphere and highly entrepreneurial company.

Anyone interested or knows anyone who might be please get in touch.

18k will not get you a PA in the city, not one who is any good anyway. Try 23-27k

Agreed- You'll end up with a second jobber / university leaver for that kind of cash.
Good ones with a couple of years experience can command a 30k basic plus bens.

Hi, im a PA in the City and can recommend a good recruitment agency if needed?

Dont know of anyone (friends) looking right now and to be honest, their salaries are nearer the £30k+ mark.

Failing that, if you needed any urgent typing/work I can do from home let me know - more than happy to help a fellow PH'er!

TBH, a leaver / 2nd jobber would be ideal. It's not exactly demanded stuff initially, just someone to keep us organised and show a tad of initiative.

m3cslgirl - thanks for the offer. We don't really need typing etc but if you know anyone who is looking then please let me know. And are you saying there is something wrong with my typing?!

The last PA we had left last month cos she wanted to move in with her BF and he lives to far out for it to have made sense. I think this was her first or maybe 2nd job out of uni. For the right person we would consider offering some additonal perks such as their own seat, exclusive use of the office microwave (except when someone else is using it!) and 2 days off a week (guess which ones!).

If anyone hears of someone looking then please let me know.

Thanks for the response so far - can pretty much always be assured of a good response to a post on PH.

is it my fault that there is no spell check on the forum and I am too lazy to type it in word first?!

LOL, I wasnt being sarcastic about your spelling - I was being honest with 10/10....

Best spelling mistake I have seen in a while was in a letter

"please dont take afence".....

Ok, i will leave the fence there then!

Genius!

Saw a great spelling mistake a few days ago in a letter addressed to me;

"Dear Ugly Brain-dead Git..." Funny the typos some people make.....

Yeah, went to an audition and everything. They said somethng about me having the perfect face for radio and an utter lack of talent. They did say they would call me though and personally I think that 12 years a perfectly reasonable response time.
