Premeium rate sms service

hi all

just wanted to see if anyone has used premium rate sms before, whether it be for weather reports, traffic reports,competitions etc.
Hundreds of company's come up when type 'premium sms' into google, just wondered if anyone could recommend any company's that
have a good service and good pay outs.

we tried to do this last year and it was a complete crock of s**t. the systems that you had to use were rubbish, the minimum levels of business were awful, and the payouts were dismal. as long as you understand the concept that your business model will fund everyone else, apart from your business model, you should get on fine.

and as for international premium sms, it was enough for us just to slit our wrists and end it all.


it may of got better now though.

Have used several and, regardless of who you pick, the operators will rape most of the profit out of it each time. Best you can do is find a provider that is cheap and easy to integrate with at least (Web Services), and that can help you out in other areas (lowest-cost messaging for non reverse-billed stuff via Malaysia, etc)

Shout if you need a system building... I did MTV's amongst other *major* ones in the past.

I'll drop you a mail however for starting out I can't fault www.textanywhere.net Simply because you can phone them, email them - whatever and they get straight back to you and know what they are talking about too.

I'm not affiliated with them although I should be because I recommend them - a lot
