Can anyone answer me on this one please?
If myself and my mate start freelance architectural work (creating plans etc. for peoples houses), do we require some sort of public liability insurance?
Sorry if its a stupid question but I need it clarifying.

Isn't professional indemnity more of a worry? Public liablity would be more to do with people visiting your premises etc?

There is no legal requirement to have either but PI cover is vertually essential as it covers you for mistakes and bad advice in simple terms. Public liability can be rolled in for peanuts too. if you want any further advice just drop me a pm.
