Help Business solicitor required
Discussion
"Business solicitor" could require any one of a dozen different specialities. What sort of advice are you after? Debt recovery? Insolvency? Property? Tax? Employment?
Solicitors tend to specialise so before anyone can decide whether they can help you, they'll need to know whether it's their area!

Ok I made my wife a director and company sec just over 3 years ago for tax reasons , we split 15 months ago and I need to get her out !!! she wants to sell her half and I dont want to buy it...............
Steve.
Following on from Eric's post you need to discuss this with your accountant. Making someone a director and co sec does not give them a share of the business so if she wants money for "her half" that implies she has shares in the company. If not then she doesn't have a half to sell
If she does have shares then normally this would be dealt with as part of any divorce settlement. Are you guys divorced?
Either way you will probably need a mixture of commercial and family/private client advice - especially if there are kids.
I don't operate in that sphere and don't have any specific contacts in your vicinity but your accountant almost certainly will
Being a lawyer I have to ask whether the decision to involve the wife in the business was made with an exit strategy in mind and whether you were advised on the possible pitfalls should the marriage breakdown. If not then it might be easier to run it past a separate accountant to see what the consequences are of undoing the structure
