twice now i've put a deposit down on a flat to let, and been told it's been taken off the market.

Then a little later on, got a phone call saying that there's been a mistake and a higher offer was received just before my deposit was taken. 'we're very sorry, this is very rare, i didn't realise my colleague had made a viewing this morning'.

i'm guess there's nothing i can do? i will get my deposit back, just sick of being messed around.

And if it's the same agent, tell then to stop ****ing you about! Must be highly irritating!
