I need a new VOIP provider. I want one thats very reliable, cheap and easily scalable. I have only one phone at the moment and could do with about 3 on the same number at some point soon.

Someone posted a link to a provider that I think began with a G. They looked really good but I cant find them anymore.

We use Gradwell to run our office phone system (ie. a virtual/soft PBX) - which includes 6 hardware phones, 6 softphones (X-Lite), fax to email and various other services.

It generally works fine and is inexpensive (particularly for international calls) - but be prepared to commit some time to getting it work and *do not* expect telco grade reliability.

A quick side question. I have never been near VOIP or SKYPE type phones. Is there much of an advantage to going down this route if your standard BT bill is £60-80 month for general all day/night/every day usage?

If you get a 0845 number its local rate for your customers anywhere in the UK.

Its easy to move offices and expand.

You can get ulimited call packages cheap.
