Whats the oldest age that you can join the Police

The Police claim that they do not discriminate on age when recruiting (they have to say that)but what is the oldest age that you are likely to be taken on as a recruit?

I believe they're enlisting pensioners to hold speed guns for them, so as long as your hands don't shake too much you should be OK at any age...
