I've just bought a DJI Mini 4 Pro and I'm taking it on a road trip with me and a pal to the Alps. I'm steadily learning about the drone itself and its various filming techniques but how do I capture audio?

I'm looking at filming some distance away but I'd like to capture the sound of the car and from what I've found out so far I would need a mic in the car and possibly record it to an iPhone? As I understand it I would then take that audio and add it separately to the timeline in iMovie. I'm just not sure on the mechanics of the in-car audio; what mic and what app to use. Grateful for any pointers and/or advice.

Try a good recording app like Hindenberg Field Recorder with the iPhone’s built-in mic or an external wired mic

I use Lavalier mics which you can get from amazon, they go anywhere. Then just record a blank video on your phone with audio to get the sound. You need to align the files in edit. When you have started recording both audio and video, clap,so you can use that as a reference to align.
