Docking station with usb-c pen display

We've been using a laptop that had a dedicated power port, leaving a usb-c displayport free to run a Huion pen display. Just had to get a new laptop that has one thunderbolt port, which doubles as the charging port.
This is a problem as it means we can't run the pen display and charge at the same time, so I guess we need to get a dock. I'm getting a bit confused, so can anyone recommend a dock that isn't too expensive, with a power passthrough to usb-c/thunderbolt, with another port suitable to run the pen display through, which needs a usb-c display port?
