Hi, I am looking for ideas on suitable Android-based applications for us to use at work.
We’ve recently bought an Android smart TV that has a touchscreen with a stylus and plan to replace our current solution with it.

We work in the transportation industry, and we have a whiteboard split up into categories.

We then have a magnet with each truck and trailer name, so that we can move those trucks/trailers to different parts of the board where needed.

There are also smaller magnets, which represent the product the trailer might be loaded with, and we’ll put those magnets next to the trailer where necessary. Then, where these magnets are stuck to a whiteboard, we can physically write notes if needed with a whiteboard marker.

It’s straightforward and works fine, but there are drawbacks, such as the truck/trailer combinations often changing and being renewed, so we are constantly buying new magnets etc. Due to how much we use this board and with it being a 24/7 operation, we also go through whiteboard markers like a fat kid on cake, which is why we’ve replaced the system with an “IIYAMA” branded Android-based smart TV.

We don’t know what applications exist, if any, to suit this requirement, though and was wondering if anyone could recommend something to us?
In a dream world, it’d be a digital whiteboard like we have now, where we can use our fingers (or the stylus) to drag the trailers to different parts of the TV, in the same way we use the magnets now.

Any suggestions?

Basic and cheap - A properly formatted Excel or Google Sheets document on the screen? Stored centrally or in the cloud it would allow the data to be viewed and edited remotely by anyone with access from their own PC. If it works and you wanted it formatted more professionally and some automation etc, a professional to do some scripts/VBA from Fiverr or the likes?

Assuming you want cheap, you could try looking at Microsoft Whiteboard which is an interactive whiteboard and I'm pretty sure it's part of Office365.

Everyone can then access from their own PC but still be displayed on the TV. It should also allow you to keep the prebuilt elements that you mention.

ETA: here you go - loads of templates that you can tweak to your hearts content - and FREE smile
