Help with TV box

Hi, I am looking for a (legal) to internet TV box were I can get UK channels itv bbc etc ….My old satellite system is not working , the LNB as been changed however I have given up going down the Freesat route so looking a internet box ….I have a Sony Bravia Tv with Amazon cube and that’s fine for Netflix etc …I have looked at a Mag box but not sure how f I can get free to air Uk channels could anyone recommend one that would suit my needs …Thanks

You need a ‘freely’ box. But they haven’t launched one yet, the good news is that release is imminent so keep an eye out.
Freely TVs are available now but only with a couple of manufacturers, but again, more to come.

Probably best option is a new TV that supports them all. The boxes always end up going out of business. Also, TVs are cheap these days.

Can you get BBC iplayer, ITVx etc on the Amazon cube? You can watch 'live' channels. It's a bit clunky compared to Freesat/Freeview etc.

No aerial and Freeview available?

I don’t have Ariel Freesat etc , digital signal in my area is non existent…Freesat was my option but not now …Just purchased only last week a Sony Bravia XR A80 L I think I will just have to live with it until a box is available or I can be bothered to re route satellite cables as the dish is still in situ and I would only need a single feed just getting a bit old for going up ladders now

The Sony TV will have the UK apps, and given you said UK TV I assume you're abroad? In which case you'll probably need a VPN to access them.

I've heard of people doing this for the F1, open VPN, put yourself in Belgium or wherever, open F1 app, and stream.

Is your dish that difficult to access? For not much more than the cost of a new box you could get a local aerial installer to sort out your Freesat feed. None of the internet services have the same sort of cross channel EPG that the Freesat platform offers.

Have a look at the BT (EE) tv box pro,that can use the internet as it's source of channels.

Just thought i would post a update ,i now have a satellite cable feed ,i was not using the Main socket for feed i was using the Sub feed ..
I now have it currently scanning for channels 612 at 83% so something is working ..

Firestick, Google TV, Roku etc can all access UK TV apps (BBC, ITV, C4, C5 etc).
