Considering these two laptop options but I will need to travel with it.. I don’t want to carry around a massive power adapter - so does anyone have the physical size of them for each device please? Can’t find the info online

Also I understand that charging via a lower power (smaller device) may be doable if you don’t need the performance?

I dont know those specific laptops but I have swapped the brick that came with my Lenovo for one of the below. They are tiny and light plus you can charge multiple devices at once. I've never regretted it and it provides as much power so the laptop charges quickly etc.

When in the office the laptop charges from the monitor it is plugged in to.

I have a brand new G14 and the power brick about the size of 2x iphones on top of one another. Certainly a lot better than the literal brick I had on a previous gaming laptop several years ago.

ETA you can use any USB-C charger up to 100w I think, although when I plugged in an old 65w usb-c charger a few weeks ago it kept giving me warnings about the charge being underpowered; but it worked.

ETA I highly recommend the G14; the OLED screen is amazing and I got a great deal on a 5060 model just a few weeks ago.

I just replaced my 2021 Blade 15 with a G14 and the 200W charger is a lot smaller and lighter than the Blades 240W. the braided cables on the blade chargers look great but they add to bulk especially when stuffing in a bag or satchel.

You can use a USB charger with both but the G14 apparently does not do true passthrough so it might be worse for battery wear long term.

Not sure on the Blade 14 but I have the Asus running at about 10W discharge when working (web, video, office etc.) so running off USB would be enough and also should get about 6-7 hours battery.
