Email sub folders disappeared

Has anyone else had this. My subfolders have been emptied from my primary gmail account. I’m still receiving emails, but past emails to date from 2025, 2024, and 2023 have gone. I can see last weeks, then it jumps to 2022 and I can even go back as far as 2016 if I want, which I don’t as I’m sure I deleted those, who keeps old mobile phone adds?
Its sub folders with important emails that have gone.
Just wondering if it’s anything to do with the major outage that happened last week.
Anyone?
