Sony Bravia 8 Sonos syncing issues

Just got a new Bravia 8ii and I've had for the last 8 years a Sonos Soundbar/Sub and surrounds.
When I had the previous Samsung TV I never had any issues at all with the sound syncing and everything was fine.
With the new TV every other time you turn it on (I usually do so via SkyQ) the sound is off by a good second or two, if you restart the TV it usually fixes it but sometimes you have to do so twice. If we have been playing music through Sonos you will always have to restart the TV.
I've googled and done everything that is laid out in the manuals but to no avail.
Has anyone else got this combination or suffered the same with this particular TV?
