Tablet with 6GB RAM + for gaming

We have recycled through a fair few tablets over the years through CEX for our kids, all with no issues. Now they are older we are running into frustrations though.
Currently we have a Samsung A8, and it can't handle any of the games that all the others could, Roblox, Tanks, Brawlstars etc. I have gone back in store and they say 4GB RAM isn't enough to run most modern games, so I will be trading it in.
What tablet will be of decent value and spec to replace it with? We don't have much of a budget - the Apple A16 has been mentioned but we don't have anything Apple / don't really like Apple and also they are around 300 which is above what we would want to pay.
Any suggestions?

My kids all have Honor Pad V9, 8gb RAM, 256gb storage, before that they had the Samsung you had and had similar issues with Roblox. This Honor Pads are brilliant, will run anything smoothly and the battery is massively better, they also use the pens a lot for drawing stuff. Think they were 200 quid end of last year, probably cheaper now, came with a free case as well when buying direct from Honor.
Xiaomi will also do similarly much powerful machines for less money than a Samsung.

I've a Redmi Pad 2 8GB and it's been great but haven't tried much gaming on it beyond bolatro and similar ones.
For the price it's fantastic but it'd be worth a scan through a bunch of youtube channels as there's comparisons for absolutely everything.
I went for it as it's cheap, I've got an expensive PC and phone so just wanted something simple but functional. Refresh rate is good, slightly increased resolution over comparable Samsung ones, too. Which after being used to browsing on my S24U, I'd have become frustrated if I went for a straight 1080p tablet.
