I pad techy help please
Discussion
I recently bought a new I pad as I managed to smash the screen on my rather old one (both Pro models)
I’ve noticed the some of the documents in the file section haven’t transferred, the sub files are there on the new I pad but don’t contain any documents, although they are still showing in the old I pad.
Any advice on transferring the missing documents without having to go through each file one by one?
TIA

did you set up the new one from the old one directly? Or iCloud backup? Files are in iCloud?
Do you have a macbook to connect with? In Finder, under the old iPad location, you will see a tab "Files".
This should help, I have no desire to see how this might look on Windows but it might need iTunes installing if that's what you have.

My old IPad decided to die on New Years Day.
I saw that Argos had them in store and two hours later, it was like I had always been using that, bar the new features like Windowing.
The whole transfer experience was truly seamless.
