Brave an YT

Cannot sign into Brave for YT footage, apparently they don't support Javascrpit

Is this another clever way for them to stop people using other browsers?

Works for me, you haven't got a VPN connected have you?

I do use one yes, but it was not connected.

Just checked and it works for OK for me too on my Macbook Air (no VPN).

Using a 2014 MacBook Pro with open core legacy sequoia, YT works just fine with Brave

Wonder what it is then, been signed out, can't sign in without needing a java script browser, very weird

Have you got Shields Up? I think that would stop JS.

Brave absolutely supports Javascript so that's not your problem. Most of the internet wouldn't function otherwise.

But you can switch it off. Is it possible you've done that? Do other sites work ok?

Yep just tried again in a new window, not supporting Javascript, no idea what the hell is going on, maybe something to do with ad blockers

My Brave (Linux Fedora) wont open the ADSB tracker map now, the page loads normally but the map is just grey.

Which website? I just went to https://globe.adsbexchange.com/ & it opened up:



Shields are up but scripts are allowed. Same with YT - no issues.
