Just been looking at these and have found a place which is selling them for £1020

I am VERY tempted.

Anyone know if it's a good laptop or would I be paying for a pile of rubbish in a nice outfit?

I totally agree with you, but this is different IMO. I think this takes the brand to a new level and is one of the coolest things going!

The truth of it is , in 18 months it will be so out dated you will sling it and get the new P7 8000ghz with a 22" TFT and 4gb ram

It's £1267.83 with VAT, watch laptop shop cos they hide the real price.
The same one without the ferrari stuff is a good few hundred less,
There are loads of acer's in pc world/dixons/comet & they cheap, but ok.
