Hi all,
I replaced my motherboard the other week and it doesn't have a 15pin games port on it. Its got on board sound so I disabled that in the bios and plugged in my old sound card with a games port on it but XP keeps saying theres a conflict with the memory address its trying to use, have tried to change the address but no joy. Is there an adaptor or something I can buy to get my 15 pin games port back as I use it for my steering wheel,
thanks,
Phil

You might be able to get a USB convertor? Or try and find out whether you mobo can have a extra 15 pin game port add on.

You don't by any chance have an NForce 2 motherboad and a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz (or Videologic Sonic Fury, they're the same) soundcard do you?

I had this problem a couple of weeks ago, apparently the latest drivers from the Turtle Beach website fix it... I didn't have any joy though so I gave up and found the USB converter that came with my controller instead

By the power of Google I bring you....

...this

Edit: Try this one too - it's about half the price and looks more compact too.

You could always use your old sound card in your new PC. This will save you the cost of buying anything. If you have not got a sound card you can get one for around £10 with a games port.
