Ah. So you mean Visual Basic for Applications or VBA????
If so and you have Office or some other MS ap then you already have VBA.
Try the help (I know, and I'm not trying to wind you up), or go to MS for some basic tutorials.
Also look at the specific MS forums.
MS help can be a real pain, but you can also learn a lot from them.

If you download the .NET framework SDK from Microsoft (free) you can program in VB.NET using Notepad (if you really want to!)

Alternatively, there's an open source .NET IDE here.
