When performing a W2K disk cleanup it takes ages working out how much space can be saved by compressing old files.
Anyone know if its possible to disable this part of the cleanup?
Not as far as i know. But then you're the first person i've ever knon to actually use this thing.
I've tried this on Windows XP as I didn't know what it did so thought I would give it a try.
All that seems to happen is a loading bar appears and just stays there forever, appears frozen. End up having to kill it.
