Looking for my late Grandad's Mercedes E350 / M90MPB
Discussion
Hi everyone,
I’m hoping the power of the UK car community can help me out with a sentimental search.
My grandad passed away very recently, and I am trying to track down his old car and private number plate. It’s a 2014 Mercedes-Benz E350 Estate, and the registration is M90MPB.
He owned and loved this car from new until 2023, when it was written off following a minor crash. I can see on the Gov website this car remains on the roads. I believe the car was taken to Copart in Newbury, Berkshire, but could now be anywhere. Because of his recent passing, both the car and the plate hold massive sentimental value for my family.
My ultimate dream would be the opportunity to buy the plate (or even the whole car, depending on its current state) back from the current owner.
If you are the current owner, or if you know who owns this vehicle: Please drop me a private message. I completely respect your privacy and have no intention of bothering you, I just want to see if we can work something out to bring a piece of my grandad's history back into the family.
Alternatively, if anyone has spotted this car driving around or has any tips on how to find it, I’d be incredibly grateful.
Thank you so much for reading
