Mercedes C218 CLS 400 engine size

I'm slightly confused by what size engine is in the 2015/2016 era C218 CLS400.

They are all listed as 3.5L on autotrader but looking at reviews on US cars they all claim to be 3.0L engines.

Does anybody know what the answer is?.

Petrol or diesel CLS400?

One is a 3.5, the other is 3.0.

It does seem like the 3.5 litre turbo engine was unique to the CLS - in the UK at least.

Is it the M276 engine? I had the same in a 2016 E-Class.

The 3.5 appeared then I guess fell foul off emission changes. The 3.0 was back after a year or so I guess.
