R231 SL 63 Facelift
Discussion
How have people with the R231 SL 63 found these cars? Am on the look out for one currently (White, silver or blue - 2018/19 car) but struggling to find a good example.
They seem pretty bullet proof from everything I can see. Have heard of a few radar failures but issues older SL's had with ABC seem unheard of in these.
Any comments or further insight much appreciated. Equally if you have one for sale, please do PM me. Thanks!

That's been a good summary of the search I have had so far.
Worst so far was at a dealer (not main dealer or well known trader to be fair) - HPI check showed the vehicle has had the mileage rowed back.
Another at a more reputable dealer - nice car but was highly priced so expected it to be very very good. They hadn't even bothered to refurbish the kerb marks on the alloys or notice a panel gap difference at the A-pillar. So much for the extensive preparation...

I’m interested in any updates here? I think one of these could nicely fit my purposes of long range GT whilst being an enjoyable steer. Not crazy about the external looks but interior looks nice with no large touch screens and overall quality seems to be good. Hard top convertibles are not my favorite but the benefit seems to be a large boot which again fits the GT role. 5.5 litre engine vs 4 for the later GTs another plus.
Probably because of the looks, I never paid any attention when they were new and the limited supply suggests I may not have been alone. Does that make for a semi classic and limited depreciation?

I've just bought myself a 2016 SL63, the spec was partly what pushed it over the line for me. Exterior is Obsidian Black, but the interior is the darker red leather and the car has the cooled seats option. Hard to know what is optional and what is standard to be honest. I would have liked a blue one ideally, but I have only seen black, white or silver for sale.
I was originally after an F Type V8 R and this popped up locally, which I was not expecting. As others say, not initially on my radar and I was not overly keen on the exterior, but sitting in one an then driving it made me realise just how lovely they are. A few evenings on YouTube videos and I was absolutely smitten.
Pricing for these seems a bit variable, with a 2013 at £27k and a 2019 (that is very similar to mine) at £70k.
It's probably too fast for the roads this time of year, but it's a wonderful cruiser and I'm looking for to enjoying summer in it!

Here's mine purchased last August and I'm really happy with it so far. Does everything well, fast with good handling and a great convertible.
It doesn't have the performance pack as it was difficult to find one that wasn't black with black interior which wasn't my preference. I'm planning a stage one remap but I can see that the limited slip diff would be worth having.
Mine's currently running winter tyres which it treats with contempt, all that torque through 2 wheels makes them feel like play dough.
I agree with the comment that the pricing tends to somewhat erratic but I was happy with the price for mine. I wasn't tempted to pay 40%+ more for a facelift version.
