There was a post somewhere on t'internet listing the engine numbers for this engine and from which number it shouldn't have been a consideration. IIRC, the cut-off point was sometime around 2009. Having said that, I would have thought that any cars affected would have been dealt with by now. A friend has one, bolts were replaced simply as a precaution, but that was done many years ago.
Water ingress into the boot can be an issue, as can faulty roof control units: experience is that some 'specialists' are better than others. There are 11 motors and 17 limit switches for the roof, so it's worth checking that it all works correctly.
There were a number of reported issues with the ABC, Active Body Control, certainly on the early cars. I can't recall the situation with SBC (Sensotronic Brake Control), whether all R230 63s had it or whether it was discontinued around facelift time. If not already aware, might be worth researching.
Lovely cars and a great engine, although torque delivery is different from the earlier 55 and later 5.5 twin-turbo 63s.
