High mileage glc 350d

Hi all
Thinking of getting a 350d glc. Will probably be going for one around 100000 miles. Just wondering if this is a wise decision. Engines seem pretty reliable, just wondering if there are many high mileage post 2016 642s. Thanks

Cannot comment on the diesel because mine was petrol. However, do make sure that the drive train has had the oils changed at 40000 mile intervals (Mercedes recommendation). Despite mine having a full Mercedes service history there was not any evidence of the oil changes, and at 79000 miles the rear diff. was making whining noises and showing symptoms of crown wheel and pinion wear. Also when buying make sure your chosen car has air bag suspension, otherwise you are in for a jiggly and rough ride. For what its worth Mercedes diesels generally have a good reputation, of course with all engines regular oil changes must be the order of the day.
