1. That farty noise on the up shift - any way of stopping it? Slightly getting on my nerves just a week into ownership ..

2. Ummmm....

I have been!
Seems it isn’t quite as bad but only if really holding onto a gear and then changing up manually.

Not possible to do that on urban streets though...

I am thinking of changing to Alfaworks exhaust too. Just wonder what people do with the stock system? Keep it in the garage for future swap back?

Its that or E bay, The Alfaworks one is well made, mine did 2 years on the last 4C & 18 months on this one & no issues thus far apart from it working loose on the second car but it was fitted by the dealer as a swap when I got the new car . Of course if you think you might get another 4C then keep it to put back on to sell the car .

Forgive me for stating the obvious but one of the results of the engineering behind this car is the heavy trumping......and I love it.

Living not far from Longbridge I often imagine I’m driving a Metro Group B rally car rather than an Italian beauty.

My, very minor, gripe is the performance you have to go through to top up the windscreen washer reservoir. smile

Sounds like a plan. Going to give Alfaworks a visit next few weeks 😄 Looking at their website there are two systems. One is Supersport and the other Helmholdz. Which one did you went for?

It’s not a minor gripe - it’s fking annoying!
So that stupid plate is now permanently unscrewed and dumped by the side of the passenger seat.

And who on earth imagines themself in the useless pile of ste that was the Metro when you actually have a Lampredi bloody cam whistling and popping behind your ears??

Have a care old boy!
