156 temp gauge

I've had a new radiator fitted by a much recommended alfa garage, but the temp gauge stopped working when i got the car back. i will give them a call, but they are a 2 hour trip from me. is there a chance that i can fix this myself?

Hi,if im right the temp senders in the thermostat housing so they shouldnt have touched that,just check theres water in it before going anywhere.
