Alway loved the Montreal, but surly this has to be somewhere near the top.

Some of the pre-ware stuff is very beautiful. I also think a nice step-front bertone is a brilliant looking car - I think because they are comparatively common they get overlooked in the beauty stakes.

The "33" is my favorite, closely followed by the 6C... mmmmmm

It's funny - I think they're great-looking things, but I somehow don't think of them as cars. Which is obviously ridiculous. biggrin

yes Definitely.

Also the Giulia / Giulietta SS (because I'm not clever enough to tell the difference).

And the TZ and TZ2, although the latter maybe doesn't count.

The 33 is definitely prettier, but overall I maybe prefer the TZs...

What do you think of them as you crazy loon?

Above, a pre-war sandcastle as seen by Jamieboy.

I always think the Disco Volante has a certain "look at me I'm beautiful run your hands over my curvy body" look to it:

"Horseless Carriages". biggrin

I guess you've got the advantage over me - I can't remember the war wink so when I think "pre-war" I think more of things like this:

...although I accept that doesn't make it much less ridiculous. smile

Disco Volante is a good shout, too.

edit - oops! apologies to classics.com.

That's probably because you were hiding behind that big wall we built to keep you out of eye and earshot. tongue out

Pre-war stuff doesn't do much for me either but they are impressive in their own way. I remember following one to NAD a few years back and it was really shifting, sliding out of roundabouts and generally going very well. Then when it parked up a very smart older lady got out of the driving seat!
cool

Pretty much any 1930s 8C does it for me, regardless of who made the coachwork and whether a coupe, touring, etc. I think they're perhaps the most beguiling cars ever built.

My username somewhat gives me away though!
