Alfa 156 Speakers

Hi again,
It looks like I’m going to be installing a new aerial, so whilst I’m at it, I’m considering changing the speakers in the 156.
Does anyone know the sizes of the standard fitted speakers?
I'm not too fussed about the tweeters, but I’d like to pop some decent ones in the doors and rear.

According to a post on AO
"different manufacturers define their speaker sizes differently, and it does not reflect the size of the frame/magnet. the size is meant to be 6.5", but even some so-called 6" speakers may not fit, nor some 6.5" ones.
not without some modification, often minor, like cutting the hole bigger and redrilling screw holes, etc.
however, safest bet is to try speakers at a store before buying, ratherh than risking buying online. that's unless you know how to do the mods yourself and have all the required tools.
