Nice looking motor there - have you got the clear plastic rear wheelarch protectors?
I've ordered an Alfa Red Cloverleaf today - I hit lucky because there's one in the UK in pretty much the spec I wanted (this one also has the tinted windows) so I should be getting it in the next couple of weeks

Congrats on the Cloverleaf. They must corner amazingly with the active suspension!
I didn't get the wheel arch protectors which I regretted at first but later when I heard more about them apparently they don't really work (just stop light scratches as opposed to preventing chipping) and they don't cover the whole area that is prone to being chipped
Now that the weather is better you shouldn't have issues due to there being no grit on the road, I got mine on December 24th (as pictured) so it's been driven in terrible road conditions mainly.
Be extremely careful when washing and just getting into the car as the paint is prone to easily getting scratched. Great little car, just bad paint.

I have one too! A 155 Veloce in Black, got it on the 22nd December. The only problem I've had with it was a coil pack that gave up the ghost when it was a few weeks old, but they gave me a lovely 159 to bimble around in while they had it so it was no real hardship!
I did find that the paint tends to mark quite easily though when people insist on rubbing against the car (oo-er) in the supermarket and have a few nice hairline scratches on the rear quarter and the bonnet.
Which is annoying.
They mostly T-Cut out though.
Here's a nice pic of it courtesy of our very own, truly awesome Nick Williams

I wouldn't want the Mito to be much lower thinking about it. I remember when there was some snow at the beginning of the year I could frequently hear the chassis scraping along. Also when it comes to parking my Mito will JUST clear some curbs. If it were any lower then my front bumber would be in pretty bad shape. There's a reason the car comes at that height from the factory.

Hello all, thought I would introduce myself by putting up a picture of my relatively new car.
Anyone else here have a Mito?

Cracking looking car... but then again, I am a tad biased...

Pop over to autoUNITY.net too and say hi!

Oh yes, had it just over a week now and I love it. I'm putting on the miles until I hit the magic 1000

I tend to leave it in D all of the time as the throttle response, steering feel and ride/damping are so much better than when it is in N.
The gearbox can be baulky until the oil has warmed through but it's still better than the 135 I test drove. It's by far the most enjoyable car I've owned and I've had a couple of complete strangers complementing me on it, something I've never had before.
The only annoying thing about it is that it appears to be a target for our feathered friend - I've had to clear bird-c
p off it practically every day; I think it must be the colour (Alfa Red).Nice one!
I know what you mean about the gearbox - I drove one today and the gearbox was definitely more notchy than the one in our 155. Being of shorter travel, perhaps there is less leverage within the mechanism, but it was certainly noticeable. Should become very satisfying in time though
The only shortcoming of the Cloverleaf I could see from 15 minutes today is the fact that the additional power can only be accessed with the stiffer suspension. Much of the time that won't be an issue - generally desired in fact - but it felt a tad too jarring and jerky for today's B-road blast and slightly unfortunate that the two are inexorably linked
Is the magic 1000 you refer to just the 'run-in' period or is this 'restricted until then' thing I've heard about actually true..?
Got any pictures to share..?

The car is restricted to 80% power until 1000 miles are reached, it'll be a real rocketship when that happens. I took my brother-in-law out in it tonight and he was very impressed, particularly with the ease at which it picked up speed.
I must admit that I think the ride is actually better in D than in N, the dampers respond quicker and it's much smoother down the B-roads I use on my commute than my last 2 cars, neither of which were as remotely sporting as the Cloverleaf. It just feels so planted.
So far it's a big thumbs-up from me, but not from the chavved-up Citroen C2 who thought he could beat me away from the lights tonight - I guess he didn't spot the cloverleaf badges on the wings
It's back in the garage on Monday (they forgot to do the supaguard protection
) so it will be treated to a full interior and exterior valet - I'll get some pics taken then.
