Window sticking on Spider

I've got a 2008 Spider and the passenger window only works intermittently. When it sticks I hear a clicking sound in the door.

I now have the problem that the window is half way down and will not move in any direction.

Any ideas? Can you get some lube for a window?

If you give the glass tug does it start moving again?

Could be either dirt in mechanism/runner stopping it moving or perhaps the motor is knackered.

Yes, I've pulled it and pushed it but it is very random on movement so maybe it is the motor. I was hopeful for something simple
