Went to the Glasgow preview a month or so ago, really impressed by the car.

Much better looking than the pictures, and it seems well made with decent materials - as much as you can tell from looking at and sitting in it for an hour, anyway.

I'm really looking forward to seeing one as I really can't get my head around it from the pics.
Sometimes it looks almost Brera'ish and in others it looks like an MPV!

Had a "sit & fiddle with it" go a few months back: wasn't that impressed tbh: styling hasn't won me over, plastics felt a bit brittle & bits were hanging off. That example may have been preproduction & had been used & abused statically, but juries still out, for me...

I went to see it yesterday, I want one! I have seen loads of photos and took some as well but for some reason the car photos just dont show how nice it is, design wise.

I like it.

That seems to be the case with so many modern designs doesn't it? People seem quick to make their minds up online or from a mag, but you need to see them in real life!

yep, agreed: the only car in recent times that flew off the page straight to my heart was the 156 - the ad with it "driving " on the ice in Venice...lick - even a big car show doesn't always help, artificial light, too many people crowding the stands etc.

Seen one now and I'm still a little unsure, the problem was that the Car was surrounded by hoardings which were set a bit close so you couldn't stand back and admire it, particularly the front end, which is the dodgy bit. it's definitely better resolved than the Mito though.

Leaving that aside though, I was very impressed generally and reckon there's a good chance of one arriving on my drive next year when the BMW company car goes.
