Just bought a GTV

hi guys I have just bought a 98 GTV as a little project for my first car but I am having a nightmare trying to source parts can anybody help me out
I need a bonnet,front bumper and headlights

Any help would make a young man happy

Try eBay, but they usually go for silly prices (i.e. cheaper via the dealer network!)

yeh ive tried ebay there is one guy selling the new shaped bonnet and bumper on there for a lot cheaper than I can get even the old shape one here

I am not too hot on my german and I dont think the guy can speak english so there is a language barrier. Any idea if these will fit a 1998 TS?

Use one of the free on-line translation programs to check what he is selling. I think you will find that the P3 front can be fitted to earlier P1 and P2 cars but it needs care and modifications. I think someone on GTVV6.com has done the change and have seen a car for sale on e-bay that was upgraded. Have you tried a UK breakers search, again in gtvv6.com I found a link to a search and found parts available for my Spider. If you have not yet joined do so now.

yeh i am a member on GTVV6 and the guys are really helping me out it is a great community to say the least.
I must have rang round over 100 places since yesterday and all I have found is a 1 really expensive bonnet and bumper and no headlights

Well I've just blown up the engine on my the wifes GTV and the cost to fix is more than the cars worth......

I might have some spares ;-)

Its red and with plently of stone chips....
