Alfanet Bristol - great service

Just to say that I had a 72,000 mile service yesterday by specialist Alfanet of Stapleton Rd Bristol. Changed all belts and pulleys, plus variator, new brake pads and put right a few little glitches, all for £510 incl. Very friendly, very professional, well recommended.

I 2nd the recommendation - have yet to use them, purely because he convinced me that the work I was considering having done was actually unecessary! Top marks for not just taking the money and running!

I know of several people who have used him and nobody has a bad word to say...

Just been out to start my Alfa for the first time since the service and it made an ominous rattling sound from somewhere deep inside the engine, which increased in intensity the more the car was revved. I think Alfanet will be getting a call first thing in the morning...

Panic over - the rattle turned out to be nothing worse than a fraying fanbelt. Not sure why this should have happened immeidately after a major service, but at least it isn't anything major...
