156 Boot Struts Failed

The other day I noticed a piece of plastic in the boot and traced it to the boot strut which had broken. A few days later, the extra stress on the other one caused that to break. A quick trip to the Alfa dealer and they ordered 2 new ones FOC and fitted them this morning in less than 5 minutes. That's what I call service

Anyone else experienced this failure on the 156?

Every fiat/alfa/lancia ive had has had the boot struts failed or on the verge of failing. never had a 156 tho
