Abarth 595 Running Costs
Discussion
Struggling to get an answer on the 595 as a daily thread, but interested in peoples experiences with running a 595 Abarth as I am potentially looking to purchase one to liven up the commute.
I will be doing about 12,000 miles per year and the 9,000 mile service intervals is the only thing putting me off at the moment.
I am particularly interested in knowing:
- Annual mileage?
- MPG?
- Service Cost?

I've had my 180bhp Competizione from new in December 2018, and I'm at just over 11,000 miles now.
I paid £120 for the first service of mine, via a local motorsport specialist using the recommended Selenia oil.
Regardless of driving style I seem to average 33mpg, I'm sure with some longer runs this would improve but I'm not sure by how much.

Pretty sure you had an answer in the other thread but in any case...
First service was £120 via Rockingham Cars (Abarth dealer, can recommend them highly) I have heard of massive variations in the cost of servicing though so always call about (my local Abarth dealer wanted £250!)
Servicing interval is 9000 miles
Economy varies according to driving type and style. When cruising up and down the M/A1 I get an average 40mpg if holding a steady 75 ish. Driven like a bellend around Milton Keynes, it's considerably less, high teens!
My annual mileage has dropped significantly at work for various reasons but I am still clocking 10,000 a year just fine. Long distance can be a little grating but I find anything under 4 hours to be fine. It's not a cruiser by any stretch of the imagination (would need an extra cog for that and ideally cruise!) but I get along with it just fine.
Cracking cars, try to find one with the Performance Pack if you can.

I've had a couple, 2017 turismo did 11k miles and 2018 Comp 23k miles both used as dailys over a two and a half year period.
1st service are around £180, 2nd about £350 with main dealers, I didn't get to the 3rd service but I think it's around £250.
I averaged about 37mpg in my cars and didn't have to change any tyres but the ones on the comp were down to about 4mm. I had no issues with either of my cars apart from the normal rattling on the 2018 comp exhaust.
I would have kept my comp if I could have afforded to keep it as a 2nd car but I already have one 2nd car along with a bike.

Afternoon all , new to Fiat Abarths , currently looking at a 2017 Trofeo with Sabelt seats , Brembo brakes , looking at the details the dealer has and it has 11k mileage but hasn't had a service yet , should I steer clear ? Dealer isn't an Abarth dealer but a local performance garage , any guidance would be great 👍

Should of had 3 services as it’s 9,000miles or 1 year whatever is first. Walk away there’s plenty on the market.
Yeah what Robin said, I would walk away from a car that someone had manually reset the service light for three years without actually servicing it, what else have they not bothered to look after? It could also be that it has been serviced and the dealer hasn't advertised this or the service history has been missplaced.
