Evening one and all.
I'm test driving a tidy looking '67 Giulia 2.2 JTDM tomorrow, 75,000 miles and one owner - it'll be my first Alfa, so I'm curious to know what to look out for (and indeed if the 2.2 diesel is a prudent second hand purchase at all).
Thanks in advance.

Normal checks really, brakes strong, no vibration. Check all the switches, mine had a problem that the driver’s door didn’t lock, but I didn’t realise for a few weeks. Have a play with the dna switch try it in all modes. Rattles from suspension. The stop start should work with foot left on brake when stopped, in drive. However unless the battery is absolutely tip top it won’t work.
The 180 bhp (they all have twin exhausts I think) has a decent turn of pace and in the d setting of dna, the throttle response is very good.
The idle is noisy but steady. Go through the menu and you can check the oil level and tyre pressure. Press the menu button and scroll down.
Love mine, having had a 240+ bhp 2.4 159, the Giulia is in a different league.
