New Giulia Quadrifoglio prices seem really firm right now...
Discussion
I've been monitoring the price of these for a while - AutoTrader, CarWoW and so on - and it seems the discounts are getting less and less.
Anyone know if this model is having an upturn in desirability or just the same issue affecting everyone else? I mean, they've always been incredibly well rated (I can't find a bad review of them), but they're like rocking horse s*** on the roads. I think I've seen maybe three in the flesh tops.
Just put in another CarWoW quote for Rosso Etna with a few bits and pieces added on (not CCB or the Akra exhaust), and the best offers are only 5% off list. You're looking at £70k for a reasonably specified new one in a heritage colour. There are a number of new ones on AT for >£70k and even one for £85k, which is almost ludicrous. Those prices will push me down the GTS 4.0 territory, especially considering the greater chance of better residuals.
Has anyone put an order in for one recently? Did you get any decent money off? Also still no option to pick heritage colours on the configurator, but they're popping up continuously on AT?

I suspect you are right. My other consideration is whether to replace the corsa’s with less track focused tyres, such as Pilotsports or the Goodyears, which aren’t winter tyres but will perform much better all year round.
Quite a few folk have successfully gone that route. For me winters are a must in the Highlands for my daily driver. If you're further south or have the choice of whether or not to take the Quad in properly inclement weather then there are a few good options.CNW25 said:
Mine was in stock. Definitely go for the akropovich exhaust and pack with blind spot detection etc. I am currently debating whether to put winter tyres on.
Competition red?
If so it was one I had a look at but couldn't stretch to it.
Ended up buying another car from them instead.

If you are a member of the AROC then there are very good discounts available through the affinity scheme
Hmm, ok, cheers, I'll take a look into this.On that note, my partner is a copper, and they get discounts via the Motor Source Group. They're quoting a £10k saving on a £69k Quad, which seems almost too good to be true. I need to explore this avenue too.

Through the affinity scheme you're looking at about £11500 off a £69k Quad, I think its always about 17% off.On that note, my partner is a copper, and they get discounts via the Motor Source Group. Working in the police force they should be eligible for it.
Only downside is the 5.9% APR.

While I remember, only Beechdale Derby seem to be able to offer this level of discount through the Affinity scheme. No idea why.Working in the police force they should be eligible for it.

Others I spoke to were offering in the region of £6k-£8k.

Assuming it's coming on Corsas, it's not really a debate. Get winters on.RonnieHotdogs said:

Wow, I did not realise there were discounts like that routinely available. Given how high the used prices are at the moment, it makes buying new a much nicer proposition. At the moment anyway.Working in the police force they should be eligible for it.

On the Derby dealership, yeah I noticed on CarWoW they were consistently lower than all of the others by some margin. That I assume was without any scheme discounts.
Any news on your Quad? I recall seeing you'd ordered one (again

Usually the discounts they quote are semi based off the affinity scheme as it's incredibly easy to find a way of getting onto it. And yep, just picked it up. It's glorious! In my opinion the MY20 onwards updates have made a huge difference inside, the different trim and infotainment / dash customisation brings it way up ... and that's coming from someone who's previous car was a G20 M340i

Have a chat with Saber at Research in Nuneaton. If there's a deal to be done he'll do it, top bloke and has a massive passion for the brand, he owns a 4C too.
Definitely do this as well, though I don't think he's got any stock coming in until the New Year now. Derby and Nuneaton are probably two of the best dealers in the UK ... and thankfully I live in between them!Forums | Alfa Romeo, Fiat & Lancia | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
