In the showroom. This is the first time that I saw it and its spec wheels etc. It also has reversing sensors!
Newly fitted roofbars. I'm alittle hesitant to fit the bike rack and sit the bike in yet....

Decent pics to follow this weekend.
Questions...
It's very quiet, well to what I thought it'd sound like. It will free up and get throatier?
It's quite well mannered on the motorway and no way as hard riding as I expected..

I was thinking about your new car day today @Hugo Stieglitz !I really must get a life of my own!
New car looks cracking, hope you enjoy it after the long wait.
Re the sound, I have the Monza on mine and it definitely sounds quieter from inside than it does outside. Putting it into sports mode makes a big difference in the sound too.
I’m always surprised if Swmbo takes the car just how meaty it sounds from outside.
I’ve not done the rear seat delete but understand that if you do so, you get to enjoy the exhaust note a bit more from inside the car.
Other than that it’s aftermarket stuff, Bombadone are popular however you also see a lot for sale in the community as the novelty wears off after a bit.
Have fun in the new chariot

They’re valved exhausts so are louder in sport mode, although the rule of Abarth ownership is never have it out of sport model or you will get it taken away or similar. You can remove a solenoid under the bonnet that keeps it open in both modes but i refer back to first rule of Abarth club, keep in sport.
Welcome to the Abarth family
We absolutely love ours and as you say, they actually not bad on motorways. Just wish they came with cruise control.
As for sound, you may be best trying to find an Abarth with the Akrapovic exhaust system and having a listen/test drive to see if you prefer that to your Monza.

Ah yeah the dreaded security. We are just going through some options now to beef it all up.
Stop lock pro has been sorted.
One thing we also have in both our cars is a galaxy smart tag, managed to pick 2 up for £25 recently. May not be the best out there as dependant on the samsung galaxy network but better then nothing and will hopefully provide a rough area that the car is in of the worst happens.

Bloody hell! Took long enough to arrive.
Enjoy.
I noticed you wrote on a topic that the seat lowering kit is dodgy safety wise? Enjoy.
Just worth remembering that it won’t have been through the rigorous safety and forces testing that the OEM ones have. You wouldn’t want them failing in a smash.
However, I have seen them on a few cars and they do look the part.
